Assigning a User as a Student, Restricted Administrator or Unrestricted Administrator

This article will walk you through how to assign and edit a user's authority in the LMS.

Go to the Users page



Go to the User's personal page

  • Click on the name of the user or check the box next to the user's name.
  • Click the Edit button in the top left corner.


Go to the User's Properties page

  • Click the Properties tab at the top of the page.


Change User Authority

  • Use the dropdown menu to change the "User Authority" to either Student, Restricted Administrator or Unrestricted Administrator.


Save any changes

  • Click Save Changes to be sure your changes take affect.
