Add or Edit Custom Fields

There are 30 custom fields that can be utilized in the LMS.

 

Go to the Customs Field Page

  • Click Customs in the left navigation area.

On the Customs Fields page, you have the option to create customs for Users, Activities and Activity Sessions.

Create a Custom

Click the arrow for the dropdown menu and choose an option for how the custom field will display:

  • Hidden (Default)
  • Text field
  • Check box
  • Drop down
  • Radio buttons

Name the Custom Field

  • Fill in the field for your Custom with the text you want to use.

NOTE: The activated field will display in the area of functionality to which it has been mapped. This means that any customs you create in the Users section will appear on the User Properties page; any customs you create in the Activities section will appear on the Activity Properties page, and any customs you create in the Activity sessions section will appear on the Sessions Properties page.

How to view a "User" custom after creating it

  • Click Users in the left navigation area.
  • Click on a user's name, then click the Edit button at the top of the page.
  • Click the Properties tab at the top of the page.
  • Scroll down to the Custom section.

The custom will be available to use on each User's Properties page.
